While working on my mother’s and father’s albums this past year I was also reassembling archival material from early songs and projects from the very beginning of MMB. While some of the vocal tracks would have made sense to be on their albums I felt they didn’t fit the vibe I was going for as a tribute to them. So those songs and archival tape melodies and newly constructed songs from aging sheet music have been strung together into a lifetime of swirling emotions through the bandcamp link: Passed 2 The album will also be available soon on major streaming services and in physical form

Somber Catalyst Volume 10

"Vision in a Heartbeat" is the latest album in my Somber Catalyst series. It is entirely written for my daughter Maya with her contributing as well. Pre order starts on 8/18 and the ooficial release date is 8/27. A limited professional cd version is anticipated to be available late August.

“Vision in a Heartbeat” is the latest album in the Somber Catalyst series.
The album centers thematically on the life of my dear Maya (2/12/12-6/9/23) focusing on her unique personality traits as well as all the struggles she went through with all of her various disorders. Thankfully I found some audio samples of her during her life and was able to capture them onto this highly personal recording. Digital pre-order for the album starts on 8/18 and the official release date is 8/27. An extremely limited professional cd version is anticipated to be available late August. You can hear the pre-release track “Our Congregation” from the album on the MMB bandcamp page.
