Somber Catalyst Volume 10
“Vision in a Heartbeat” is the latest album in the Somber Catalyst series.
The album centers thematically on the life of my dear Maya (2/12/12-6/9/23) focusing on her unique personality traits as well as all the struggles she went through with all of her various disorders. Thankfully I found some audio samples of her during her life and was able to capture them onto this highly personal recording. Digital pre-order for the album starts on 8/18 and the official release date is 8/27. An extremely limited professional cd version is anticipated to be available late August. You can hear the pre-release track “Our Congregation” from the album on the MMB bandcamp page. Thank you for your interest and I hope to hear of other artists that are willing to share stories of their companion children through the music medium.

The limited edition (4 copies) of the latest Somber Catalyst “Within the Blue” compact disc is now in stock in the Bandcamp store.
2023 Release
A new Somber Catalyst release “Within the Blue” will emerge in January 2023 with exclusive material dedicated to my daughter Ona. I wanted the music to stand by itself so I am not issuing it as the 9th volume of the series. Hopefully those of you who have lost loved ones can relate and take comfort in this cathartic little release. You can watch a live performance of the track “Elegaic” on the music and video page.
Within the Blue is available on Spotify and all other streaming platforms. The cd version is being manufactured in an extremely limited edition of 4 copies.
