In my quest to find closure with the passed The Caverns of Time album was created. I did a deep dive into buried and obscure motifs and songs from the years 1985-1990 (the earliest music of this project by far) and I tried to inject new life into songs that I wrote when I was a teenager just getting used to my synths. I thought that the magic of youth and inexperience created some hidden treasures that deserved to be ressurected (albeit heavily rearranged and orchestrated!) Combining the aged music with a lifetime of memories old and new blossomed unforseen beauty often out of deep sadness.
